He completed his medical degree at University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama and completed his residency at University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Outside of work, she channels her energy into coaching CrossFit, personal training, and serving as the off-ice conditioning coach for the DC EDGE figure skating teams. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and experimenting in the kitchen.
